Inner Landscape 內景圖

A series of meditations based on Neijingtu, a Taoist diagram of the human body that depicts it as a microcosm of the universe, used to illustrate Chinese mythology, Yin Yang, Wu Xing, and Neidan internal alchemy. Using natural materials, ritual and healing practices that integrate my body with the cosmos, I reflect on death, ephemerality, and resistance as re-existence, drawing upon my family history and work in medicine.

Inner Landscape, Neijing Tu 内景图
Our land has a throbbing heart, it keeps the secrets of hills and wombs
Pan Gu’s Body
In the afterlife of apocalypse, my people, too, are settlers of a theft
The little boat has passed grandma’s house 輕舟已過外婆家
Every hole in the earth is my wound
